Man Yo Loni I'm hoping part 2 isn't too far behind! I love Rafiq and Soraya and can't wait to find out who is responsible for all the drama in their life. Lawd why can't Brandi, Deanna and Kendra all stay in their own lanes. Vanessa is a piece of work and a sorry excuse for a mother. I'm glad Soraya had the opportunity to let Rafiq know everything including the obstacles that presented her from telling him sooner. Man Trey why? Ish has definitely just got real and I can't wait to see if the long way Rafiq has came is in vain. I enjoyed this read for some odd reason. I guess because the whole book wasn't just speaking thousand dollar shoes and bags and clothes lol just an ordinary story bout ordinary folks lol..good read now on to part two 😉
I enjoyed this read it was fast paced ,intriguing and filled with grammar issues. I enjoyed how Soraya doesn't take no one bull. I couldn't believe Angela the money hungry mother evil as hell. What killed this one for me was grammar please get a better editor for part 2 cause this could've got 5 * the storyline was good .
Please tell me why can't you authors just write a complete book and stop being greedy breaking the books down into a million parts. I need you authors to get your proof reading up to par and stop with all the silly typos.
Looooved Rafiq from the bottom of my heart. He wasn't the average gangsta crime boss but he wasn't a punk either. Soraya is my bihhhh, she's cool as hell. I'm glad Rafiq and Soraya didn't let the haters get in the way of being with one another. Soraya would try to play hard but ended up giving in to him anyway. Great love story, I can't wait until part two drops!!!! Spank is lowkey probably either a long lost sibling of his that's salty about something or he's working for Vanessa old evil ass.
This was a smooth captivating read, nothing but juicy spillage line for line. Soraya has spunk and it's rarely delivered... but Big ups to Kendra...Deanna and Brandi, hhmmm issues....but Mommy Dearest she is the worst of all. I'm looking forward to being engulfed in the next installment.
I don't even know where to begin outside of saying I absolutely loved this book and I'm sad that I have to wait for part 2. But this story was so different than anything I've read in a while. A guy falls for a girl at a young age only to lose contact with her and then be reunited by chance some years later. But they have to fight against the elements that are going hard to keep them apart. He's not a dope boy (nothing wrong with them I love those stories too) but he is well known, he has his stalkers, groupies and a witch of a mother. She's from the hood but she did what she had to do to make a name for herself. She's not ghetto but can go there if pushed. I just love this story and I absolutely can't wait to read the rest of it. Well done.
Yo Loni did her thing with this story. Every bit of the story flowed. Some people will leave you shocked by their actions. Soraya and Rafiq are simply adorable together. The two of them will have you laughing. Brandi and Deanna will have you ready to smack someone. I didn't care too much for Kendra. She seems extremely sneaky. Just like Ra's mother. I love Zamir and Lyric! Those two kids are something else. Zamir is every bit of Ra!! Trey had his moments, but he was still a good dude! Looking forward to seeing what drama Yo Loni has to bring in book two, because we all know the pettiness is about to continue!!!
